Acceptable Use Policy

Do not use Breyvi to put words in a real person's mouth, to recreate their face or voice, or to depict them doing something they did not do. This holds whether the person is famous or not, and whether or not the result is labelled as generated.

Satire and commentary about public figures are not what this is aimed at. Fabricated footage of a named person saying something they never said is.

Just animate it makes a photo move. Animate only a photo you have the rights to, of people who have agreed to be animated — you confirm both before every clip, and a clip made of somebody without their agreement breaks this rule like any other use of their likeness.

Do not make video that is meant to be taken as documentary record of something that did not happen: staged news, invented incidents, fake evidence. If a viewer would reasonably read the result as footage of a real event, it may not be of an event you made up.

Do not make video that attacks a private individual, that reveals someone's personal details, or that incites others to do either. Do not make video that demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Do not use Breyvi to make sexual content involving minors, in any form, generated or otherwise. There is no exception to this and no context in which it is permitted.

Photos uploaded to Just animate it are checked automatically before anything is made, and a photo with sexual content is refused whoever is in it. A refused photo is deleted, and the refusal is recorded against the account.

Do not use Breyvi for fraud: fake endorsements, fabricated testimonials, investment pitches for things that do not exist, or advertising that misrepresents what is being sold. Do not generate reviews of a product as though from customers who never bought it.

Do not use Breyvi to produce operational guidance for weapons, explosives, biological or chemical agents, or for attacks on infrastructure and computer systems.

Do not upload material you have no right to use, and do not use Breyvi to reproduce a copyrighted work — a film, a song, a character — in a way its rights holder has not permitted.

Do not attempt to circumvent limits or safeguards, to scrape or reverse the studio, to run automated traffic against it outside a published API, or to interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Every Breyvi video is generated by AI and marked as such in its file. When you publish one that shows realistic-looking people, places or events — a deep fake in the words of the EU AI Act (art. 50(4)) — you must disclose clearly that it is artificially generated, for example in the caption or with the platform's AI label. Obviously artistic, satirical or fictional work only needs a disclosure that does not spoil it.

Do not remove, crop out or falsify the watermark on a free video or the AI marking in a video's metadata in order to pass it off as real.

Anyone can report content made with Breyvi that they believe is illegal or breaks this policy, by writing to novaworksup@gmail.com. So that we can act, please include:

• why you believe the content is illegal or against this policy;
• where it is — a link, or enough detail to find it;
• your name and email address, unless the report concerns child sexual abuse material, which may be reported anonymously;
• a statement that you are making the report in good faith and that it is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

We confirm receipt, decide promptly and with care, and tell you what we decided and how to contest it. Abuse of the reporting address — frequent reports that are clearly unfounded — may lead us to stop handling reports from that sender for a time.

Breaking this policy can lead to refused requests, removed content, or a suspended or closed account, depending on how serious and how repeated the breach is. Before we act we weigh the facts and, where the circumstances allow, warn you first.

Whenever we act, we send you a statement of reasons and you can contest it, as the Terms describe. Where content suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, or involves the sexual abuse of children, we report it to the competent authorities.
