What happens to your tokens when a video fails

A failed video costs nothing

A video is made of many paid steps, and any of them can go wrong. Tokens are taken when the job is accepted, and if it fails the same amount goes back to your balance, once, in the same database step that marks it failed. No one has to approve it.

That also covers failures on our side. If generation is paused or a provider is unavailable, the screen says so and your tokens are returned.

You can stop a video

Under the progress bar there is a Cancel button. It asks once more, names the refund, and gives the tokens back. The service stops at its next paid step.

Trying again

Try again starts a new video from the same brief. Pictures and clips already finished in the failed attempt are reused rather than made again.

Your first video is free

An account that has never paid makes its first video free, in any genre that is on offer, as one part on the free stack, and the tokens that come with signing up stay on the balance. If that first video fails, its price stays on your balance. A device gets this gift for two accounts.
